Boston Public Library Engagement Proposal
BOSTON ENGAGEMENT PROPOSAL PHOTOGRAPHER
Boston Public Library is a beautiful location for your engagement session or engagement proposal! With its stunning architecture, variety of rooms, and historic charm, you’ll find the library to be the perfect spot for your big moment with your loved one. Boston Public Library is available to use for professional photography for a full hour immediately after closing to the public, and you’ll need to make a paid reservation to use the space. The benefit of this arrangement is you and your significant other will enjoy total privacy, and we’ll be able to take pictures in spaces that are normally crowded and obstructed with visitors. The other advantage to using the Boston Public Library for your engagement proposal is you won’t have to be concerned about the weather, as there are plenty of spots indoors to stage your big moment.
For Shrey’s proposal, he wanted to use an indoor space at the library that was intimate, not too bright, and rich with warm and brown tones. After reviewing the options, we chose the Abbey room, which is connected to plenty of adjacent rooms for me to hide in and hang out leading up to the proposal. After the big surprise, we photographed portraits in many of the library’s rooms before venturing out into the courtyard, where Shrey couldn’t help but propose again in front of the fountain!
Thank you again, Shrey, for inviting me to not only photograph, but help plan, your surprise. Coordinating in advance makes all the difference when it comes to capturing your moment in the best possible way.
If you are curious about proposing at the Boston Public Library or are planning a Boston engagement session, please feel free to get in touch!
